Mode of Action
Thiamethoxam acts systemically by binding to nicotinic acetylcholine receptors (nAChRs) in the insect nervous system. As a seed treatment, it is absorbed by the germinating seed and translocated throughout the plant to provide early protection. Causes continuous nerve stimulation, leading to paralysis and death of the pest.
