Mode of Action
Chlorpyriphos acts as an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor. It disrupts the normal functioning of the insect nervous system by preventing the breakdown of acetylcholine, leading to continuous nerve impulse transmission, paralysis, and death.
