Mode of Action
Profenofos acts as an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor, causing accumulation of acetylcholine in the insect nervous system, leading to continuous nerve impulse transmission, paralysis, and death. Cypermethrin acts on voltage-gated sodium channels in nerve cells, prolonging sodium influx and resulting in rapid knockdown, paralysis, and death of the insect.
